Shimkus Recognizes Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg High School Softball Team

WASHINGTON – Congressman John Shimkus (R, Illinois-15) entered a statement into the permanent Congressional Record recognizing the Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg High School Softball Team, who are the 2018 Illinois High School Association Class 1A champions.
"The Goreville Blackcats had a terrific performance, mounting a comeback after facing a six-run deficit to begin the game," Shimkus said. "However, due to their stellar pitching and timely hitting, the WSS Hatchets earned a hard-fought and well deserved victory."
